I was reminded this morning of the importance of "Loyalty to Truth" and having a true passion for the Word of God: "Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?" (Lk. 24:32) Is that how I really feel when I listen to the Word of God preached, taught or read?
I was also impressed with the "Leaps of Faith" that result from a true passion for God. My passion for Him should be the basis for the trust and peace necessary to follow Him without question or hesitation, like Gideon, no matter how big or seemingly impossible is the task He is calling me to or the direction He is leading.

I was most challenged by the "In our Worship - Authenticity" section.
As a child and even as a teen, I used to love to sit up front in the church and sing --- to the Lord. I'm praying that the Lord will rekindle that passion in me again.
